2 week delivery for 'courier' service

Arranged with TimeFreight for 1xA4 envelope for delivery from Springbok to Windhoek. When I inquired 2 days after the pick up I was told that it will only leave Cape Town after another 2 days and then delivered in Windhoek after another 3 days, ie one week from pick-up. This was already an issue. After one week had passed I inquired again and was told it was sent to Johannesburg and will only be delivered overland after another week. That is 2 weeks after the pick-up. This is unacceptable for a 'courier' service and I was never made aware of this extended delivery period. Most courier companies offer overnight delivery from Cape Town to Windhoek and for the price I paid one would expect that kind of service. I demand a refund as it is already passed the due date for the documents that I had couriered.
