Timber Connection is not an honest business. I've had a horrible experience with them. I bought wood for a pergola at my house from Timber Connection through a project manager. I paid the quote in full, and then discovered afterwards that there was a charge for the installation of a pergola, and Timber Connection didn't install the pergola. I then went back to the salesperson and owner, Adrie, at Timber Connection's Brackenfall branch, to inquire about this. Adrie promised to get back to me on the same day. She never did. I phoned several times, until she finally took my call, under duress, four days later. I asked again about the charge. She refused to explain (or reverse it), saying she will email the invoice and "I should speak to the project manager". She emailed an invoice for something entirely different. I have since repeatedly called, but she refuses to take the calls. I then learned she was friends with the project manager. I suspect there was a kickback payment. In my experience, this is a business with little accountability and dishonest business practices. I seriiusly recommend staying away from them.
