Useless service at Timber city roodepoort

Don't waste your money or your time at timber city roodepoort

I have constantly found the service at the Roodepoort branch of Timber City to be useless at best. 95% of the time there are ZERO, count it ZERO sales staff at the counter. Where they are no one knows. I've been assisted by Jonathan who while he may be clued up, has absolutely no sense of customer service along with the so called manager Louis. Neither of them return phone calls to customers might I add. I recently had a simple job requiring two for to ceiling doors of unique standards made and edged as well as 2 L-shaped shelves cut from existing board and another trimmed to size. The doors firstly were cut to the length of under counter cupboard doors and the boards that needed to be trimmed was completely wrong. To top it off, I was promised the order on Saturday 27 November and it was now Wednesday 1 December and nothing has been edged ie the order was not ready 4 days after promised date. Jonathan argued with and accused me of feeding him incorrect sizes saying he read them out of my book. He went on further to claim I had signed "measurements sheet" (which I had not it this would not have happened) but could not produce said sheet. I escalated it to management in the form of Louis who I had to go find some in amongst the loud machinery in the warehouse. I was ignored by him and after forcing Jonathan to leave the sales desk he is hardly ever at, Louis finally got my doors cut. However he did not address me once, did not leave the cacophony of deafening machines in the warehouse to speak with me or make any attempts to apologize for their excuse for service. I am beyond upset with the continued lack of service this one brilliant timber site is constantly providing both salesman Jonathan and manager Louis are pathetic at there jobs. If you need timber and board cut rather use Chamberlains Strubens valley who have an exemplary customer satisfaction rate.
