Timbercity Stole my money!

<p>On the 6th of July 2017, I received a quote from Timbercity Vereeniging for a kitchen unit I wanted to purchase to the value of R2793,55. On the 26th of July 2017, I sent the proof of payment to the sales person (Sheldin Venter). I received an email from a Johnathan informing me that Timbercity has closed down and that I needed to contact my bank to reverse the funds. I contacted my bank and went through the lengthy process of trying to get my payment reversed. My bank informed me that they were not successful as the beneficiary account had insufficient funds. I then emailed Timbercity again on 01/08/2017 informing them that my bank could not help me with the reversal and asked that they please refund me. I called a lady by the name of Shantel Webb, who had been copied into the mails and she explained that Timbercity was being liquidated but that my money does not form part of the liquidation as I am not a debtor and that I was one of 3 people who had paid cash for quotes supp**** by them. She asked me to forward all the details of the transaction to her, and that she would send all the information to the legal department regarding my refund. I did that. She confirmed she forwarded my information. I followed up with her again on 07/08/2017, where she informed me she has heard nothing new regarding my refund. I have heard nothing more to date. </p> <p> </p> <p>Have I lost my money? I am very disgruntled as I am not a debtor and not part of the liquidation process. Timbercity is *****ing my money. I just want my money back.</p>
