TIMBER CITY WOODSTOCK POOR SERVICE
The service is BAD. After experiencing issues with previous orders I empathised that there were miscommunication. However with my last order placed for the cupboard doors I asked the sales person to check with the cutting room and confirm a delivery date which was confirmed for this friday 18 Dec. Thursday i was advised they can only deliver Monday which i said will not suit me as arrangements were made to transport the goods to Langebaan. They then came back and said they will see what they can do to pull forward the order and will call me friday. Friday i called and was told best would be Saturday Afternoon. I advised that maybe its best that they get the manager to call me and they should ask the manager if he could deliver the goods seeing that my truck is available friday but not saturday. The manager Marlin Matthews never called back. I went into store and was advised that they could not have confirmed for friday. So my response was then why call to say you cant make it for friday and can do for Monday. He then said he will have the order ready by 5pm so i said fine then i will come round 16h30 and was advised it will only be ready 5pm. So i said fine then i will wait but I dont see it happening as previously they couldnt do a smaller job in 1hr. I then requested a cancellation of the order and they accepted which means they had not even started the order. I was then advised that they cant refund as they have in sufficient funds and will need to do an EFT which will reflect next week Wednesday. The manage then said maybe i can help you with a delivery but it will be Wednesday. Who will fit the doors over Christmas??? I called headoffice spoke to Ryan and whi then came back said they will EFT but it will reflect Tuesday. as they cant do an instant EFT today. What POOR SERVICE from #timbercity Woodstock
Problem is that they want all the money upfront before they start then they delay and delay and only recourse one has is a cancelled order and refund. What about the loss of income for the carpenter who planned and then the inconvenience cost to me the client asI now have an unfinished place and Timber city walks away by just a refund.
