Krem Bath Screen shattered when lifting
I purchased a Krem Bath Screen from Tiletoria for a good price of R699 but the screen shattered in my hand as I was lifting it. No bumps or nicks to the glass which could have caused the glass structure to weaken. Having installed one of these before I was surprised, to say the least. I am just putting this out in case there are others who may be purchasing the same Bath Screen and who may have experienced the same problem. I obviously have no proof to show the screen was handled and it is made of glass so Tiletoria response of ' it was not shattered when you bought it" is, I suppose, understable. Granted that some clients will pull a fast one to save a buck, but in my case I believe the product is inferior and if others experience the same thing the Consumer Council can be called in to assist if a trend is established. My consolation is that I still need to buy R7000 worth of flooring which I will buy elsewhere and both parties therefore end up in a lose-lose situation compared to a win-win and a longer term client relationship.
