Terrible service

We went back to Cornel at Tileguard (www.tile-cleaning.co.za) because he had done a good job cleaning and coating tiles for us in 2015. However something has gone horribly wrong with their service. This time (June 2018), they damaged two brand new stainless steel sinks with the acid they used to clean the floor. They sprayed some “coating” on the tiles that left a white residue on the charcoal coloured tiles. Attempting to clean the white residue, they used more acid which damaged the grout between the tiles and failed to remove the white stains. Repeated requests to Cornel to complete the job and repair the damage were met with constant excuses. Eventually, messages were simply ignored and we ended up cleaning the tiles and completing the coating ourselves. We won’t go near the business again.
