Tile Rite Pietermaritzburg

I contracted Clint Nortje of Tile Rite in December 2017 to repair and replace two leaking showers on the first floor of my house. The floors are wooden. He quoted me to waterproof and replace the shower bases. 2 months after the renovation, while he was installing another new bathroom for me, I showed him the water marks re-appearing on my ceiling. He told me it was condensation. Now 18 months after his handiwork, I have had to re-open my rotten ceiling again and redo the showers. I discovered that NO waterproofing, membrane or Chemflex was laid as per his quotation and what I was charged for. New fibreglass bases were simply plonked on top of the inadequate base that was there, and leakage has occured again due to excessive movement. Attempts to reach him for comment were ignored. He charged me R23 000 to do those two showers and a shoddy job it was. So disappointed to be ********** like this.
