We went to see the Nomadic Orchestra and booked for two people at R150 p/person. Upon arriving, we were seated next to the PA system's loudspeakers which were blasting at ********** levels, we asked the waiter to please turn it down a notch because even him couldn't hear us, never mind my partner and I who couldn't place a word in? Eventually we asked if we could move far from the rig, we were placed near the entrance's staircase, now the band arrived and started playing even louder than before, the bass was so loud and boomy that our eardrums were literally hurting even from where we sat! Now came the time to order the food, my partner ordered Tacos with seared tuna and I ordered a sirloin on the bone, I made sure to order my sirloin without sweet basting, the food arrived about 30 min later, my meat was still raw, so I called our waiter and asked if they could throw my meat on the grill a bit longer, he asked me "why don't I make a new one?", I declined and said I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes, I repeated that I didn't want any sweet basting on my meat, it took about 30 more minutes and I decided to go and check why the process was taking so long, the kitchen chef told me that they were doing a new one!!!! I asked why? I clearly stated that I wanted the same meat to save time? By then my partner had already finished her food! Honestly this is the last time I go to one of your venues and I will make sure not to recommend it to anyone.
