Being white is still a privilege

We visited the muizenberg branch after spending the morning on the beach , we wanted a window side table but the waitron said the one that was vacant was not available ( as it was deserved for a Julie for 12am it was already 12:39), but there was a couple that was about to pay so we can wait for that on( which were not even close to finished with their drinks) anyway we sat down and checked out the menu, the server was busy taking our order when another customer approached the waitron looking for a table for 4, he said that was was reserved but she could go ahead and sit there anyway.... So.... At this point I looked up and said but a moment ago we couldn't sit there, was done with placing my order GT up and left , clearly being white is still a privilege. Disgusted by the level of service received
