Abysmal Burger
I was treated to a staff lunch at Tiger's Milk V&A Waterfront last week, and had an abysmal experience. I ordered a Borderline Burger with sweet potato fries, and one of the chips had a white string on it. I immediately alerted the waitress, and the manager offered a different side, which I didn't accept as the waiting time was very long. The explanation provided was that it was a string of chicken on the chips, and the chicken was fried in the same oil as the chips. The burger was greasy, and the oil not fresh. I ate it at the time because I was hungry and the long waiting period. I have photos of the greasy burger. Later that afternoon, I experienced immense stomach aches and am still suffering from the after effects. Unclean oil, and cross contamination from the different items fried in it made for a horrible after experience. I still have burger vrees from this experience.
