On 16 May 2015 Mr S Pretorius (blind person) went to Tyger Wheel and Tyre (TWT) for a quote on replacing his two front tyres. They issued me with a quote of R1594, which included wheel alignment checking and wheel balancing.<br> On 19 May 2015, Mrs Pretorius took in the car, Hardes (being the technican) advised her that the wheel alignment is included in the quoted price. TWT did the works and when payment came, TWT deducted R2139 from the card payment. <br> Firstly, when Mrs Pretorius asked Hardes whether the alignment was included in the price, he confirmed it.<br> Secondly, TWT neither pointed out to Mrs Pretorius that they were going to charge for additional works, and she never agreed to the additional R545.<br> On 19 May, at about 16h30 when Mr and Mrs Pretorius went to TWT to enquire about the overcharging, Hardes did not deny that he confirmed to Mrs Pretorius that any additional works were included in the price. <br> This is a clear wrip-off and TWT is a bunch of ************ *****s portraying as professionals. It is clearly an attempt on their part to **** a blind person out of money and taking advantage of his disability.
