What should have been a quick job ...

I took my car to have the 4 tires rotated. Does not seem like to much of a job, does it ? After 5 min my car was lifted up, ready to go. I went to have a cup of coffee, since customers are not really allowed to hang around the working area. 45 min later, the sales man came back to me, to show me a problem on the front left tire. It was totally worn out on the inside. This of course, cost me 2 new tires (balance and all that). Yet another 40 mins later, he said there was some plastic ring (to keep the wheel centered) missing on the one wheel. As it happens to be - the worn tire one ! Since they were the last people to replace my tires the previous time, did who-ever work on my car the previous just ignore the missing part and cause the tire to wear off uneven ?<br> <br> It took them more than 20 min to find a replacement (but not until I asked one of the other sales guys could help - he found one in 2 minutes !)<br> <br> To make things worse, while my car was in the queue for alignment, another customer drove in and was allowed to jump the queue for the alignment !<br> <br> Pathetic service guys !
