Unnecessary and misleading additional charges

I took my car in to have my wheel alignment done and left it there because I work around the corner. I then received a call that my front left caster was completely out and causing the car to pull to the left and they could fix it for an additional R300. So I agreed with the charge, settled the bill, but when receiving the wheel alignment report I could see that:<br> <br> a) The original values where in the middle of required specs<br> b) All they did was prioritize the castor from left to right which makes no difference for road driving (you turn right as much as you turn left!)<br> <br> I queried with the sales person Jan and technician who kept assuring that this was correct and spun up a story about how SA roads are cambered to the left so you need the castor to be prioritized for the right. This is a ridiculous story and makes no difference, I was told it was out of spec and a problem!<br> <br> The Initial values:<br> <br> Left: 4.39<br> Right: 5.11<br> <br> After their R300 unnecessary charge:<br> Left: 5.12<br> Right 4.48<br> <br> Do not take your car to this place, they will sneak in whatever unnecessary charges they can. They are not to be trusted.
