Unbelievable

After purchasing 2 new tyres last week from you, I traveled with my car to Matjiesfontein on the N1 from Cape Town. The trip there was fine and we stayed overnight at the hotel, the following morning when we want to leave we see that my back tyre (brand new) was completely flat. I drove with a biscuit wheel from Matjiesfontein back to Cape Town. This Monday I take my car back to your branch in Claremont and your employees show me a hole in my tyre that caused the flat, they told me that the tyre is completely damaged because I drove on the flat. There was no nail in the tyre but I saw the hole. Your employees told me that it was not a manufacturing fault but indeed something that happened on the road while driving. If that is true I would have felt the flat as I was driving because as your employees said the tyre is beyond repair because I was driving on a flat. I find your customer service completely lacking and I feel taken advantage of. The tyre I bought from you a week ago was supposedly brand new and if I drove on the flat as your employees stated I would have felt it. I felt it immediately the following morning in Matjiesfontein when I was leaving and could not drive at all before changing the tyre. I drive a Kia Picanto 1.0 and these tyres happen to be quite expensive and your employees told me you had them on special for R950 per tyre ans usually charge R1500 per tyre. I have since then checked with other companies who charge around R900 per tyre NOT on special. So I am assuming your normal prices are a complete rip-off as well. I am not discounting that I could indeed have driven into a nail or something and that could have caused the flat, however I do not believe that I drove on the flat for more the 2 and a half hours without feeling it only to discover the next morning that I couldn't drive anymore. Your employees informed me that I need to purchase a new tyre seeing as I did not take out insurance from you on the original purchase, however I think it's disgusting that there is not even a weeks warranty on the tyres you sell. I am taking the tyre you sold me to AA for inspection. I will never again use your services and will not recommend you to anyone.
