Tiger wheel & Tires sel old tires

I ordered a tire from Tiger Wheel & Tyres Secunda. It was a run flat so it was expensive R3745. I waited a week for the tire as it is not a common size. They installed the tire on my rim.When I putt the wheel back on the car at home I saw that this tire was manufactured 2 and a half years back. I did call the manager and he said this is how he received the tire from Pirelli and if I am happy we can send the tire back and see if we can get n newer tire.when i asked him if they do not check the age of a tire he replayed no. The problem is if I send this tire back I will not have a car over Christmas and that I now can only use this old tire for only 2 and a half years and then have to replace it for insurance purposes. I do not recomend buying tires online from Tiger wheels & Tires they will give you old stock.
