Tiger Wheel and Tyre Durban pathetic service

Tiger wheel & Tyre in Durban central and Umhlanga staff do have the the s**** and knowledge to be in the industry. their technicians do not know what they are doing, and waste customers time and money.

I have been to tiger wheel and tyre for the last three weeks trying to get my balancing and alignment done.

the first time, there was a vibration, and i had to go back, they couldn't put it right. i had been again, and they said to me that it is my brand new tyres that are the fault. tyres that i had fitted in September 2019, they had barely been driven on.

they had me change the tyres for R6000. then, the vibration was still there, the alignment technician told me that it was my cars control arms that were damaged. i had this changed at R3000 a side. this still did not fix the problem.

i then went to the Durban Central branch, and the sales manager, is the rudest and most unhelpful person. they tried to re-balance the wheels, but failed. it was still not right, the sales manager told me that i have to take the car to Wheel Collision, to check if the wheels are damaged. i told him that they were not. they tried again, but still the vibration.

I then took the car to a wheel refurbisher, who told me that the tyres, were not fitted on the wheels properly and were wobbling on the rim. they fitted the tyres on correctly, and the problem was fixed.

i do not understand why Tiger Wheel and Tyre could not do this properly the first time. they made me waste money on new tyres that i did not need.

I have now wasted in excess of R 10 000 for nothing.

My family has been dedicated customers to tiger wheel and tyre for decades, but Tiger Wheel have now lost all confidence in my family, and have lost 4 customers.
