Shocking Service From Salesman
Went to my local Tiger Wheel and Tyre at Key West Shopping Centre in Krugersdorp, with a very basic issue regarding my two back wheel tyres, both of their valves being torn and needing replacement.
The salesman I dealt with on entry, pretty much refused to help me. Saying that he could literally not help me at all and that he had no idea as to what I was even talking about?
I went next door to their competitors and was immediately helped and asked to drive my car into their bay. Problem solved in 10 mins flat!
This shocking service that I received from so called 'Tyre Specialists' that I have spent thousands of rands on in the past, was an eye opener to say the least!

09 Sept 2021, 13:11Thanks for the call back from the lady which, I assume is the branch manager, however, to call me and to justify the poor service with an apology and in the same sentence to tell me that it must have been a misunderstanding, is absolutely ridiculous!!
It would've taken the sales person less than a minute to step outside and see what I was talking about. On top of that, their neighbours, Lombard Tyres knew exactly what I was talking about and sent someone immediately to assist me.
Management at Tiger Wheel and Tyre need to stop making excuses for their staff's bad service which reflects poorly on their establishment and fix the situation by training their staff better and stop blaming customers for their staff's shortcomings.
We would not be recommending Tiger Wheel and Tyre, nor spending another cent there( Had purchased two front tires there last year).
