Poor quality tires to consumers - No recourse

Menlyn Branch - Went in to purchase tires on a budget with Vitality assist. They are between 2.5 and 3.5k more expensive than competitors - This defeats the use of your Vitality drive rewards. A set of Generals cost over 15k with them while a competitor around the corner offers the same for 12.8k all inclusive. Being on a budget I opted for a less expensive option - They market a brand call Revelo. I believe they have a responsibility to provide a quality product to consumers even at a budget - This should be a consumer right. I could not have made a worse decision. Yes, I was informed that road noise and consumption stats cannot be compared to leading brands - I get that BUT... Consumption dropped by more that 1.8km/l - you cant hear yourself think from the road noise and most importantly they will not balance, This is a major safety issue. An aftersales call from the branch was ended with " I am sorry to hear that good sir" It seems that that is it then, A gross dismissal of consumer rights - In my opinion.
