NOT KEEPING TO QUOTE

On 2015-05-04 I received an quote via e-mail. The quote was given for 4 shocks, labour and wheel allignment. The amount that was quoted was for R3300 plus R175 for the wheel allignment. I phoned today to get the split price for the front and the back shocks and to confirm the job as I know that the shocks need to be ordered. I was then told that the person working at Midas made a mistake and gave the wrong price, then it was said that the shocks on which the wrong price was given are out of stock and was then told that the Midas in Bloemfontein's shocks are more expensive than was quoted. I was just called informing me that they will not be able to give the shocks for the price quoted and they will give it to me for R4000, which may be a fair price, but the point is that the quote given to me from the beginning was R3300. This is unacceptable. I received the quote from Tiger Wheel and Tyre and not from Midas. Tiger Wheel and Tyre should give me the shocks for the price of R3300 as it was not my mistake.
