Today I had a very frustrating experience at the Centurion Tiger Wheel and Tyre. Firstly I was frustrated that it took 8 days for Jaco to finally let me know that my mag rim was back for repairs after promising 5 days max. Not once was I notified of a delay. I had to keep following up. Jaco seemed very irritated at every call and was always in a rush to end the call. On the day that the rim was taken in by Jaco(Monday 4 December), I provided him with all my insurance policy documents and he assured me that all is in order. On the following Monday, I followed up with Jaco, who still did not know where the wheel was and I asked if the insurance claim was processed. He told me not to worry about that and he will call me to let me know when the wheel arrives. On Tuesday (today) Jaco called me to say that I can collect the wheel. As the wheel was being fitted, Jaco calls me over to say that no claim was authorized and had no explanation as to why not. I had to then email the quote to the insurance and leave the wheel at the shop once again as there was no authorization for my claim. I could not even afford to pay for it because the quotation to fix 1 bent rim was an exorbitant R1695. I had been at the shop for 2 hours just to not get my rim back. I feel that the insurance could have been sorted out long before today but no one seemed to care. I felt worthless as a client and will never use this branch in future
