NEVER AGAIN TO TIGER WHEEL AND TYRE

I bought a car battery in July 2021.

Few days back it went flat. I took it to TWT because it has a 2 year guarantee. They tested and said the battery is good. They said my car is not running enough!! I don't understand what they mean because the car runs every day!

Again after few days the battery runs flat. Back to TWT. They again say the battery is good and that the alternator should have a problem. I went to test the alternator and it is perfect!!! 9.3

Again the car runs flat. First tested the alternator, then went back to TWT. Now they say the battery is good and that I must take the car to Collins Auto Electrical because something is drawing power from the battery. Took the car to Collins. They confirm the battery is dead and I must go to TWT and get the battery replaced. Remember each time the car had to be jump started to get to each place. And this is after driving the car from Vincent to Gonubie and back!!!!

Back to TWT. They still say the battery is good and I must take the car to Honda. I told them I am coming from Collins where they referred me to earlier and they have confirmed the battery is dead and have sent me back to you to replace the battery. They don't listen. I asked them to phone Collins Auto (They tested with a proper device and even said the little device TWT uses is not accurate). They refuse to phone. Swears they have nothing to do with the car.

At last after more than an hour of arguing and fighting they test the battery again and decides to replace it. Imagine this has a 2 year guarantee!!

Never buy car battery from TWT.

I am a customer of TWT for many years starting from Umtata but NEVER AGAIN to TWT East London. And NEVER AGAIN THEIR BATTERY.
