Just not impressed with TWT Montana

I went today to TWT Montana, to do a wheel alignment and wheel balancing. I was not impressed regarding the following; 1. I paid over R520.00 for wheel alignment and wheel balancing for a hatch back. I thought its quite steep, as I paid below R300.00 last year, but this was the minor issue to me.

2. If you are Discovery Insure client and you have the VitalityDrive benefit, you to show your card (fuel rewards card) or you can pay with the Discovery Credit Card. I don’t have the credit card but showed them my loyalty card. They didn’t know how it works at first, but this was not the first time I’ve encounter this situation with them. Clearly, they need more training on their rewards partners and how to do the processes.

3. When my car was on for the Wheel balancing, one of the guys was calling me to check on one of the tyres, so I went to the guy and he told me the following: “I don’t know how YOU drive, but this is the cause of your tyres. We will need to replace your tyres and shocks, due to flat spots.” I was so ****ed at his comment and especially his attitude towards me. Who the hell was he to lecture me on my ****** driving habbits!!! **** off!

I’ve notice that TWT Montana wants to make sale out of me regarding shocks and tyres. As the tyres and shocks stills looks brand new, but just looking for sale where they can get.

So, I bought my car brand new in November 2016 with brand new wheels, I currently have 32 800 kms on the car. My first wheels rotation was done at TWT Montana on 20 000km+/-. Then on my 2nd service my car was at the dealer either in January or February this year (2018) and they have rotated my tyres as well on 29 400km. Then TWT Montana did another rotation today on my car after I’ve notify them of the rotation, and my car has currently 32 800km, I’m not a tyre expert but surerly your tyres needs to be rotated after every 10 000 km, I barely drove 4000km after rotation after my car was serviced and now its rotated again. I’m surely going to Tyres and More to see if they can help me and ask for them for a 2nd opinion and see if the rotation was necessary. At least, they will find a way to solve a problem, instead of making a sale out of everyone.

Thank goodness, there are Tyres and More, Supa Quick and TWT Wonderboom in the area. I’M NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH TWT MONTANA!!!!
