I was **** to about a discount

A week and a half ago, i went to Tiger Wheel & Tyre in Sunninghill for them to fix a puncture in my front left wheel. I was told that a permanent plug would be inserted into the tyre, as well as swapping the front and rear wheels, and also a wheel alignment would be done. This came to over R400. I noted that I am a member of Varsity Vibe which promises me a 25% discount on wheel alignments as well as a 5% discount on the overall invoice. Being new to this, i was unsure of what was needed to get the discount, and after checking twice with the person who helped me, he reassured me that he had given me the discount, but had never asked for my membership number. I returned to a different Tiger Wheel (Hatfield) the following week as i needed to fix the same tyre of which the permanent plug for the puncture did not work at all. I requested a discount again and this time the person helping me needed my Varsity Vibe account number for it to be processed on their system. Which means that The Sunnninghill TWT assistant **** to me about a discount. I want refund on the discount I am entitled to.
