Grateful To Be Alive After Visiting TWT dealership

I went to TWT Boksburg on Thursday 18th of March, because two of my wheels had bubbles. TWT staff managed to get the admin done through my insurance company to get the new tyres. Wheel alignment was done. As I was driving my car home I could hear weird sounds from the car wheels especially at the front. I was the last customer before the store closed so I couldn't drive back. The following day I drove to work but the strange noise was still there. I had to get off on the side of the road a couple of times to check my tyres and they appeared to be normal.

On the Monday, as I was reversing from the garage a wheel nut fell from the back tyre. As I jacked up the car to restore the lug nut that fell, I notice the other wheel nuts were also loose. The front tyres also had loose wheel nuts. As I drove to work that day, strange noise was gone and the car drove as smooth as before my visit to TWT.

I visited the store that day to report it to the manager. she scribbled my customer reference number on her hand and told me she will review the video footage of the installation and call me. Over a week later I haven't received a call from her. She said the person who was negligent will be punished if they're found guilty.

My advice if you go to any tyre dealership, please check your tyres that the nuts are tightened properly. Your life may depend on it. TWT needs to take the safety of its customers seriously and seek to improve. I suggest staff training and awareness rather than punitive actions.
