False vehicle multipoint check report
While I have generally [so far] been satisfied with the services provided by you over the past years, I must bring to your attention a recent and concerning experience I had with your K¡IIarney branch. Last month, Discovery sent me an email advising me to take my vehicle to TWT for its annual multipoint check. Following this advice, I visited your K¡IIarney branch yesterday, but the service I received was far from satisfactory. The entire inspection process lasted no more than 20-30 seconds. During this time, your staff asked me to perform a few basic tasks: turn on the indicators, switch on the front beam lights, press the brake pedal, and sound the horn. THAT'S IT! That was the extent of the inspection. Despite this minimal interaction, I was charged the full service fee as per the agreed Discovery rate. Upon returning to work, I received an email from Discovery detailing the checkpoint assessment. According to the report, 14 points were marked as "PASS." However, 10 out of 14 points had never been actually inspected during my visit. Specifically, the battery, shock absorbers, tyres (even though the report stated 3mm: pass), windscreen wipers, spare tyre, jack, and wheel spanner were not checked at all. This raises serious concerns about the integrity and reliability of the assessment conducted by TWT. As a customer, how can I trust a service provider that appears to falsify its assessment results? This not only undermines the credibility of Discovery Insure's service standards but also poses potential risks to vehicle safety and customer trust. After work, I returned to the TWT branch and asked to speak to a manager. Unfortunately, the manager was more protective of his staff than willing to listen to my case. He even claimed that what had been done was "the protocol and that nothing else needed to be checked". It was only after my persistent complaints that he reluctantly asked a staff member to "check this car's battery quickly," with a tone indicating a desire to simply get rid of me. I want to make it clear that I am not seeking trouble or expecting a business-class treatment. In fact, I am willing to pay more than the agreed Discovery rate to ensure the safety and proper maintenance of my vehicle. My primary concern is to receive a thorough and honest assessment of my vehicle's condition, which I did not receive during this visit. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not recur. The trust and confidence of your customers depend on the transparency and accuracy of the services provided by TWT.
