Appalling service from Tiger Wheel & Tyre

I went to the Stubens Valley Branch on the 11th of Jan to purchase new tyres. I was told the stock of the particular tyre will have to ordered from another store and would arrive by lunchtime the next day. I was asked to pay a deposit for those tyres, which I did.

The next day there was zero communication from the store until I followed up in the afternoon and was given stories about the wrong tyres being delivered and the correct ones would arrive by 5pm on Tuesday.

The next day still no communication from the store so I needed to follow up again and got more stories about how the tyres were on a truck somewhere and had not arrived at the time I was told they would.

I have now had to incur extra uber costs to get around because I cannot use my car without the tyres. I went to the store yesterday to process a refund which I am still waiting for. So essentially I am out of pocket for the extra transport costs, the cost of getting the tyres from the service provider that could actually deliver and other matters I could not take care of due to not being mobile. On top of all of this when I requested the same tyres I was quoted on at Tiger Wheel from the new service provider I was told that these were wrong for my car which is a Mercedes and were rather BMW approved tyres.

Will never use Tiger Wheel ever again and would not ever recommend it to anyone. Let's just hope they can follow through with the refund of my deposit!!
