LACK OF FEEDBACK re Quality Concerns Regarding BLACK CAT PEANUT BUTTER 400g

There has been NO FEEDBACK about my concerns Regarding the Quality of BLACK CAT PEANUT BUTTER 400g in 13 days... I recently purchased 2 bottles of BLACK CAT PEANUT BUTTER. I opened the first bottle on 6th Feb 2024 to make a peanut butter sandwich. The tamper seal on the lid was intact but when I removed the tamper seal the lid literally fell off. I examined the contents of the bottle and could see no signs of mold or spoiling. A test taste was fine. As the Brand was not among those recalled, I decided that I could see no cause for concern, and assumed it would be safe to consume. Within an hour I had a very bad case of nausea and chest pain. My normal nausea medication did not work. I woke the following morning with pain in both my liver and my stomach. I emailed Customer Services on Wednesday 7th February 2024 with product details, asking, that in light of the recent recall of other Brands of Peanut Butter due to high levels of Aflatoxin, could I have an assurance from Tiger Brands that their Black Cat Peanut butter was safe to eat. I received a response to say that a consumer care consultant would reply to me within 72 working hours. (ie 3 days) I expected a call on Friday. Finally, I received a phone call on Monday 12th February at 15:50hrs (ie 4 working days ) From the call I understood that an investigation into my problem would be set up and that someone would call me within 72 hours to arrange for me to return the product for examination. I expected a call by close of business on Thursday 15th February to arrange this. To date, 25th February 2024, I have had no contact from Tiger Brands since 12th February 2024. (ie 13 days). A SECOND Bottle has the same issue of a lose lid despite an intact tamper seal. I advised Tiger Brands of this second issue on the 21st February but still await a call from a Customer Care Consultant about this issue as well.

TIGER BRANDS have declared their dedication to food quality and high-level customer satisfaction... This is certainly NOT my experience. They are likely to lose a customer of 50 decades should they fail to address this issue as a matter of urgency now. They need to note that I may not be the only person affected by any bottling issues...
