Lack of care and communication

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of a serious complaint that I reported to Albany Bakeries earlier this month, and the continued lack of communication thereafter.

On 10 January 2026, I reported an ************ incident that occurred at my local SPAR, involving an individual who was performing a delivery on behalf of Albany Bakeries. The complaint was submitted via Albany Bakeries’ Facebook Messenger as well as to the email address provided by your team.

By 12 January 2026, having received no acknowledgement or feedback, I followed up by resending the complaint through both communication channels. Despite this, there was still no response.

Only on 16 January 2026 did I receive communication from Tiger Brands, indicating that my email had been escalated to the relevant department. As of today, 19 January 2026, I have received no further feedback, communication, or resolution, nor any indication that the matter is being treated with the seriousness it deserves.

I find this level of response extremely disappointing and unacceptable, particularly given that the incident involved alleged misconduct and ************ by an individual representing your brand. As a customer and member of the public, I expect Albany Bakeries and Tiger Brands to take reports of misconduct seriously and to engage promptly, transparently, and professionally with complainants.

The continued lack of communication creates the impression that concerns raised by customers regarding employee or contractor conduct are not treated as a priority. This undermines trust in your brand and raises concerns about accountability. I hereby request: A formal acknowledgement of my complaint Clear feedback on whether the incident has been investigated Information on what steps are being taken to address the matter

A reasonable timeframe for final resolution I trust that Albany Bakeries and Tiger Brands value customer safety, dignity, and ethical conduct, and that this matter will now receive the urgent attention it warrants.
