Discontinuing a brand

<p>I think discontinuing the purity good nights cereal was a fundamental blunder. Many parents are still looking for that product. When you make such a big decision you risk losing brand loyalists like me and my wife, amongst other parents. If you must discontinue a brand always provide an alternative. Otherwise you frustrate brand loyalists. Do a market survey at least.</p>
