Defective products with no accountability

We bought the Becon Mallow over Easter and the chocolate covering looked like it had been subject to heat or was just old - although the expiry date was contrary to this. I complained to the customer care and its been 2 weeks with no response. This is absolutely shocking - especially for a company that's is in a consumer accountable space.
