Appalling Pork Products from Tiger brands

On 05.01.2023 I purchased Renown shoulder bacon from Checkers in Parow center.(Please see attached digital receipt) That bacon was purchased and subsequently put in the deep freezer for use later.

A week later, I made the bacon and I broke out in excessive hives all over my body. This was indeed alarming because I had never had an aversion to anything that I have eaten before. I took it upon myself to consult a Dr. Regarding this issue and the 1st doctor confirmed it was due to the pork I recently ate.

I also had to get admitted to Melomed Hospital trauma Unit because it was not coming down and that Dr. also confirmed it was indeed due to the pork and set me up on IV fluids and intravenous meds.(please see attachment)

I also had 1 final consultation with a 3rd Doctor who also confirmed that the reason I was going through this is because I must have eaten pork that was causing the allergic reaction in my body.

As a direct consequence thereof, I incurred so many additional medical costs and also lost time off work. I have consulted legally what is the best course of action and have been advised to firstly give them a chance to respond, but I got nothing.
