Car breaks down on matric dance...no help sent

<p>Hired classic car 1970 Cadillac from Tienkels Vintage Car Hire for daughters matric dance. It broke down in our driveway and driver phoned owner 3 times for help....he was told to hit carburetor with a stone. No help came - even though they are now claiming help was on the way - pity that wasn't communicated to us. We had to rush to make new arrangements to get a car otherwise she would have been late for the dance. After complaining, we were told we are ***** as I told them we could only take photos with the car and they state that we said no photos were taken. We were also accused of being rude and unprofessional...yet our daughters photo was on their Facebook page for free advertising even before they rep**** to us... 3 emails and 1 phone call later. They have agreed to refund half which is fair but the manner in which they treat clients is disgusting. Very rude, calling us ***** and telling us they don't appreciate the complaint! They also said we blamed them for making the car break down on purpose! Would not recommend using them ....bad attitudes, no plan B if car breaks down and never mind your daughter will be standing on the pavement in her matric dance dress with no transport, bonnet open and driver fixing engine with a stone. I know they don't subscribe to Hello Peter but would hate anyone else to experience this.</p>
