Failing to keep promises, along with poor communication

I placed my order on the 18th of October for a special they had and advertise "Same week delivery". I was extremely hesitant to order online (due to previous bad experiences) and IMMEDIATELY messages and emailed them that I placed an order and if I can obtain confirmation that they received it. They responded the following day, stating that it won't be this week, but can deliver it 30 days instead. We are now on the 26th of November, I have tried to follow-up and they are just not getting back to me. They could not keep their initial promise and then failed to keep the communication going. Terrible. I requested a refund - do not want to support a Company like this. I would rather go pay double the price for someone who will understand customer service.
