Travellers beware of TIC "peace of mind" travel insurance

TIC does not seem to bother to read correspondence and takes weeks to respond. Whatever responses are sent eventually, are simply a regurgitation of the previous "request" they made, with no reference to the reply of the claimant. They keep asking for the same documentation, which had been sent right at the beginning, months ago. Is this a delaying tactic, or trying to wear out the claimant in the hope they will avoid responsibility? Travellers, beware of the "peace of mind" you think you have. I booked and paid a deposit for a cruise 19 months in advance by credit card and my wife died six months before the cruise, necessitating cancelling the booking. The non-refundable deposit is covered by TIC because the payment was made by credit card and FNB clients receive automatic travel insurance. They keep asking for a "diagnosis" (which is on the death certificate) they received. This really makes a mockery of their "condolonces" sent.
