TIC Travel Insurance Consultants are slothful and could not care. Not reliable when you need them.

Dr and Mrs Parker were booked to travel on Delta from Jhb to Charleston SC via Atlanta on 9 Sept 2019. As a result of Hurricane Dorian, Charleston SC was subject to mandatory evacuation of the whole city. As a result, we had nowhere to stay whilst the airport was also under threats of closure at this time. As a result, we had to postpone our flights to 12 September 2019 - as a result of unforeseen and adverse weather conditions and had to incur a flight change cost. Now TIC are dragging their heels, want proof of Hurricane Dorian which was all over the news and can be Googled. We also sent proof of mandatory evacuation of our destination city and confirmation of our host that our accommodation was boarded up and evacuated at the time. It is now almost a month and TIC has done absolutely nothing but to confirm follow-up after follow-up. Our respective Policy Numbers are77884H and 77869H
