TIC - MONEY TAKERS AND *****

Absolutely disgusted by the treatment of this company! I went through a travel agent and booked my holiday in Egypt. The travel insurance was paid by the agent via credit card and my policy was received with policy number stating everything was in order.

Unfortunately i contracted covid and required the assistance of TIC. It took 3 days for them to finally come back to me refusing to pay for a thing stating that i never made the cc payment.

I have been stranded in Egypt with nothing, sick as a dog with covid and honestly no where to go. I had to request assistance from friends to pay for my extended hotel stay and medicaton as well as the cost to change my flight.

I cannot believe that a company can be so dishonest and take your money, give you a policy number and it states that i am covered for covid if contracted on holiday up to the value of R5 million rand.

This will be taken further on my return to SA! I have undergone extreme stress and my family at home have suffered too.

If i have to go to hospital during my stay here and something happens to me, then so help TIC!!!!!!
