TIC does not look after you when you are insured with them! WORST Travel Insurance.

After I had an accident on the 18th of February, till today, the 28th of March, TIC still is providing disappointing and shocking service, according to my Shoulder Specialist in the UK, after seeing my MRI report, I was supposing to have had surgery on my shoulder already end of FEB in the UK. TIC promised me on the 23rd of March to let me know what time my appointment will be on Tuesday the 28th of March. AGAIN no one has contacted me to provide me with my appointment time like they have promised on the 24th of March via email or telephone. I have been waiting since last Friday for them to contact me.

Again TIC has provided NO service to help me and does not care at all about my injured shoulder and the importance of this.

In the UK in Feb, my specialist insisted that I had an URGENT MRI scan, but TIC decided to send me to a cheaper and further hospital to save money, I was told by the Hospital that my results will be done in 2 days. According to the hospital the results was available the following day, but TIC never followed up or contacted the hospital or myself to schedule my follow up appointment with my specialist. After waiting for 7 days, I contacted TIC MYSELF from the UK to find out what to the problem was, that I was in pain and needed to see my doctor, they couldn't answer me and only on the 8th day contacted me back to make an appointment. They have provided no support in booking physio therapy sessions for me which I needed.

TIC also do not reply on my emails and never contacted my shoulder specialist to get the full MRI report from him, when I asked why, they never even rep**** via email, I am still waiting for the Manager, Phlip to reply to my email on the bad service I have received.

ONCE again I still haven't had my appointment, I still walk around with a right arm and shoulder that needed urgent medical attention in February.

TIC has provided me with no extra care in physiotherapy treatments, which I needed already from last month. I asked them to book me sessions, and never came back to me.

My arm is still blue on the bicep where I injured the bicep. I still struggle to move my arm and I am still in pain. After seeing my MRI result from my specialist, after contacting him myself, he insisted to take this matter further with TIC, that the service they have provided is unacceptable.

After this terrible service I have received I will have to take this matter further with the consumer protection act in South Africa and sue them for the further damaged caused to my shoulder due to the delay in their help and service. After using TIC for the last 18 years, 3-5 times a year, using them as an insurance company to look after me while travelling, I will no longer use them and will never use TIC in any way as an insurance company.
