The most useless insurance in the world

They are ******, not an insurance company. They don't cover you for what you really need a cover for. We missed our flight by a few minutes due to the railway issue while traveling to the airport on a train. Even though we left for the airport well in advance, we were left stranded in a middle of nowhere and by the time we finally got to the airport, we missed the check-in. You would think this is why you have an insurance - we had to buy new tickets to get home, losing R15,000. But TIC would cover you for any ridiculous situation that is absolutely unlikely to happen, but not cover you for travel delays. Useless.
