Just another insurance company looking for reasons not to pay out.

I am very disappointed in this company. I took out a policy on 03 Feb 2020 and travelled to the US on 12 March 2020. I did so to provide me with extra protection should my travel plans not go as planned. I was certain that my travel insurance would cover sudden and unforeseen events. Obviously, the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic was a sudden and unforeseen event. I was completely shocked when TIC simply repudiated my claim. My flight left on 12 March 2020. I could not have foreseen the effect of the global pandemic and it was certainly not my intention to be stranded in the USA for six months and eventually being repatriated at great cost. I was left financially ruined. TIC is just another insurance company looking for reasons not to pay out. How do these people sleep at night?! They have no compassion for people. They have no sympathy for those who had to endure a travel nightmare.
