Complete mess!

I have been travelling to Mauritius for our honeymoon. 23-30 November 2021 traveling from Cape Town.

Flights were rescheduled from 30 November to 02 December 2021, due to the travel ban. Due to this we had to pay the additional covid tests, as our test was not valid, extra accommodation & extra costs on flights from Johannesburg to Cape Town. We have emailed TIC, and they indicated that they are not responsible for the event, and as we are not tested positive they will not pay us for any additional costs incurred due to the travel ban. This is unacceptable - WHY do you get travel insurance then?? You pay for a service - believing that this will benefit you in the unlikely events - NO YOU ARE WRONG!!!
