Thrifty Car rental Sandton un-roadworthy vehicles

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the vehicle you rented out to me for this past weekend 3 May to 6 May 2019.

The car did not have any front brakes and a huge sound came from them whenever the brakes were pressed I realised this as I was 30 km outside of Johannesburg. The front light on the passenger side were not working this was only realised as I entered Swaziland. I was so worried driving the car the entire weekend. We got stopped by Swaziland police twice because of our light and each time we had to beg them not to fine us. While driving we were scared the car breaks would fail and cause an accident.

In general my experience with you was so unpleasant on Friday. It took hours to get there car then when I finally got it the person who inspected the car forgot to give me a ticket for the parking so I went back. I later realised that your staff forgot to even give me my cross boarder letter, which then had to be emailed to me.

I would like to know why I was given a car in such poor conditions and I would like my fees revised as I believe I did not get my money’s worth with the car that I received from you. That vehicle was in no condition to be rented out to anyone. It was very dangerous.
