Complaint for bad service fromThrifty Car Sales.

I bought cars from Thrifty Car Sales in Boksburg early in July and I had a trade-in for my old car of which we agreed on R35 000. The agreement was that I should drop off my old car on the 4th July 2018 of which a Kia Sportage was delivered from the dealership.

I was engaging with Walter Machitela who assured me that the R35 000 that I got when I traded my car will be spread as follows according to my request: 1. Pay R20 000 as deposit to one car, i.e. Toyota Itios; 2. Settle the outstanding amount of + R5800 towards the Kia Sportage (this was done) ; and 3. A balance of R9127 will be refunded into my bank account (my refund was never paid).

After countless phone calls and SMS (of which he responded to some and not to others)to Walter, I sent an email to him confirming my unhappiness with the service I received regarding my refund; he said it will reflect into my account within 48 hours of which by the 19th July no funds reflected in my account. On the 20th July; I sent another email stipulating that the amount did not reflect in my account and therefore I will come and fetch my car. Walter responded by sending me POP for the Kia settlement and I responded that he should send me POP for my refund. Walter did not respond to my email requesting the POP for my refund hence my escalation to Hello Peter. All I want is for Thrifty Car Sales to refund me the R9 125.00 as they promised to do so.

I am still to receive a phone call from Walter informing me that I must come collect the car registration papers together with the spare keys for the Toyota Itios but nothing today.
