Thriftline insurance claim

2012 I was contacted by Thriftline about insurance monies.Sharing the same initials with my late father.Contacted mom THEY started the CLAIMING PROCESS.Filled forms contacted and even visited offices of Thriftline.To NO avail the amount of the claim is R11 000.Thriftline INSISTED they need a tax nr for my deceased dad who passed in 1998.IT MUST BE ***** OF SOME SORT USING/RE OPENING A TAX NR THATS BE DORMANT FOR 14 + YEARS. MY MOM PASSED AWAY 23 APRIL 2023 .CONTACTED THRIFTLINE TO ENQUIRE ABOUT THE CLAIM.VERY VAQUE EMAIL REPLY.Does it really take more than a decade to resolve R11000 claim.
