Poisoned Pup

Having had our dogs poisoned when we first moved to the area when I saw my puppy having muscle spasms and convulsions my brain immediately jumped to the conclusion that he had been poisoned. I found that three rivers veterinary clinic had an emergency number, and if you search on Google what this is for you will find it is for out of hours emergencies, so immediately I phoned it. I explained to the vet my puppies symptoms and he immediately told me that he had probably been poisoned (anyone knows a dog can die up to 15min after ingesting poison) and then arrogantly asked me if I realised it was 3:30am. To which I rep**** yes I know and I am so sorry but my boy is in so much pain and he needs to be looked at. He then informed me I can bring my pup in 4hrs later when they actually open and I should just give him a panado and put the phone down on me. Lucky for me I phoned another vet who immediately took down my number and asked for videos and vitals. Luckily my puppy hadn't been poisoned because he would have been dead if I followed the EMERGENCY vets advice.
