*********-take money and provide shoddy service.

I dont know why I did not learn my lesson the first time. Dec 2016 I have a maxi s******,and the drive shaft stripped a thread. The area where it is located is a bit tight, but I explained this on the phone. My s****** was at the workshop for repairs,and I was not on hand to supervise . I left the cash at the workshop,payable once the job is done.

Afterwards, the workshop advised the job was so bad the shaft still needs replacing (cost=R10 000, which is what I was trying to avoid.) I call the Threadmaster people up, and got this" the space was too small to work in-the machine could not fit).We just cleaned up the thread. But they took my money, easypeasy.

Now, 2017 The Clutch shaft has stripped a thread. This shaft sticks out far so there is ZERO issue regarding their machine fitting. I leave their fee as before.

Later, as before the shop advises that the job is very poor, and they send me a photo. I see that there is no helicoil on the shaft, which is what I was expecting.

I get told that you cant do a helicoil on a shaft only into as hole. We just cleaned up the thread.

But, again, they grabbed my cash, after a shoddy job.

I call it shoddy, because the "repair" if it can even be called that, will not be able to handle the torque, and will immediately strip. Why do the job if it is clear it wont work.? This is my question.

So people, if you get these people in, you MUST personally supervise it, as you cannot leave it up to the repairer to do the job properly.

My money is wasted, and so I share this that you also wont fall down the same hole I did.
