30 Days after paying for parts, not yet received.
Trying to order and buy a emergency tool set for my PSeries.
This is the flow of events
(From my email to the service consultant's managers on 3 June, to which no reply was received by 10 June) :
On 20 April you serviced my P-series. One of the 3 items on the jobcard was for the advisor to quote on my missing emergency tools for replacement, because I was driving to Ladismith the next week and did not want to be caught without tools at a breakdown.
I collected the vehicle the next morning, and this was not done or available. After I left I messaged him to remember to get the quote for the parts.
I reminded him on 21 April, 24 April, and again on 5 May. Two weeks had passed since my service at this stage, me begging for a quote, a customer trying to buy something from you, having to plead for a quote? By this time I had been to Ladismith and back.
On 5 May I received the quote for a full set per Whatsapp after the consultant said it was emailed to me (never received; apparently "email problems" on their side) and on 11 May I made payment and sent proof to FC (name withheld, but he is the guy who sent the invoice), asking him to let me know when the tool set is ready for collection.
On 28 May I emailed FC again asking if he could let me have any feedback, as at today I had not had a reply. I also messaged the consultant on 28 May asking what the progress is and when the set will be ready, bearing in mind it has been more then 3 weeks since I made payment with no interaction initiated from your side.
The same day, 28 May, a reply saying that he will check if the parts have arrived.
As at today, 3 June, I have not yet had any further engagement, nearly a week later.
Is this standard practice how a client is treated when they are trying to support you and buy something through you? --- Yesterday, 9 June, I sent a whatsapp to the consultant stating that I will be leaving a very bad review on Hello Peter today if the parts are not delivered to my house by close of business, and provided my home address.
Shortly after this threat, I received a reply, saying they have Whatsapp problem (they could easily have called me through this whole period but not a single phone call or follow up was received), and asked me to find and send the proof of payment and their order. (which I am not going to do, just shows how disorganised these people are).
This is the reasonn for my review.
