Thompsons Holidays con artists

Thompsons conned me into buying a 5 Star holiday package to Maldives in Dec 2020 . When we got to the resort it was running on 13 staff, the hotel was mostly still under construction. The rooms didn't have hot water , there was nothing in the minibar ( we paid all inclusive) no beers in the main bar either . Out of the 5 restaurants only 1 was operational . Food was mediocre . They were a total mess . when we returned we complained to thompsons and their response was "you chose the resort so tough luck " ). i escalated my complaint to Joanne Adolphe the CEO and she didnt even come back to me . Ill never book a holiday with thompsons again. Today i got an advert from thompsons for the same resort but now its 4 Stars and its R10 000 cheaper than what i paid per person.

This company find ******* hotels that are not graded by any professional body put a "5 Star" rating on the advert and pulls the wool over customers eyes . btw the hotels name is Brennia Kotterfaru it does not have a rating on their own website .
