********** service and false promises

Initially I saw on the site specials for sun city and wanting to have nice weekend away with my partner which was very important on many reasons initially i did send an enquiry for the said special and was told someone would call me which never happened . Then 2 days later I called in early morning and spoke to yandiswa who quoted me on a great deal and fell into the dates I was available with my partner. Accepted and filled in the forms and made payment but the behind the scenes people was slow to book and make the reservation. Then I get told far much later that price is not available anymore and the new price is double and then was offered the ****py cabanas for more that what was quoted for cascades on another date. I was initially impressed by the price and initially spoke well to people about the deal and was planning to use them for future trips I had planned outside the country next year only then to run afoul of bad service and false promises. This is truly the most ********** service and the nasyiest way to treat clients. Imagine if it was an overseas trip. I would advise people to not use them. Does it take hours to secure a booking especially when you know it will be popular. Now I have to wait till friday for them to authorize my refund .but the worst part as me and my girlfriend are a new couple and this was important on so many levels alas this has let her down..please stay away from Thompsons travel and their consultants. There was not even an effort to placate or make it up to you
