Got what they want, now to hell with the clients
On the 18 August 2015, I made a booking with Anthea Andrews. The booking was confirmed and paid for on the 19 August. at the time of making the booking I requested that halaal meals should be requested. I was then told that I should call the hotel 1 day before I travel to confirm the halaal meals, which I find quite ridiculous. the meals should be confirmed before I travel. today the 21 sep I email Ms Andrews to request a lake facing rooms, but only to be told that it is not allowed. what ****en **** is that. Because THOMPSONS got our business/money they now don't want to assist us. why the hell did they not tell us all of this at the time of making the booking, and to think that Thompsons is a very well known agency. Had I know that I would get this type of service I would of NEVER used Thompsons. I will never ever recommend thompsons to ANYONE. they just know how to take our money and not provide us with what we want.

The request for Halal meals was lodged with Maureen, the Duty Manager at the hotel who requested that you call the hotel the day before travel to be given the two breakfast options.
As the Cabanas do not have a Halal kitchen guests have two options:
Guests can choose vegetarian and non-restricted items from the normal breakfast buffet or they will be directed to the Raj Restaurant (Halal) at the SunCity Hotel which is just a few minutes' walk away. Here they can order breakfast to the value of R160 per adult and R65 per child which will be included in their package cost.
With regard to the room upgrades, the advertised package is based on a garden facing room.
If you wish to upgrade to a lake facing room you may do so at an additional cost of R1,214 for a ground floor room and R2,464 for an upstairs room
